Event Policy

Effective Date: Tuesday 29th July 2025

Organised by Michelle Wright (trading as MWCanHelp)

This policy applies to all events hosted by or in collaboration with MWCanHelp. This includes group advisory sessions, workshops, networking events, community gatherings and collaborative sessions with other service providers. By registering for or attending any MWCanHelp event, you agree to the terms set out below.

About MWCanHelp Events

All MWCanHelp events are organised and facilitated by Michelle Wright, trading as MWCanHelp. Sessions may be free or paid, run independently or co-hosted with trusted professionals. Regardless of format, all events are governed by this policy.

Behaviour and Conduct

We aim to provide a respectful, inclusive and constructive space. All participants are expected to:

Speak respectfully to others.
Avoid interrupting or dismissing others’ views.
Follow the host’s guidance.
Refrain from rude, aggressive or disruptive behaviour.

Anyone acting inappropriately may be removed from the session without warning or refund and may be restricted from future MWCanHelp events.

Confidentiality and Group Respect

Many events involve discussion of personal or business matters. While full confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in a group setting, we ask all participants to:

Respect the privacy of what is shared.
Not repeat or reproduce other attendees’ ideas without permission.
Avoid sharing anyone’s details without their explicit consent.

Breaches of this expectation may result in removal or exclusion from future events.

Advisory Sessions and Liability

Group advisory sessions and other MWCanHelp events may involve personalised guidance or feedback. Please note:

All advice is given in good faith based on the information shared.
It is for general guidance only and not a substitute for professional, legal or financial advice.
You are responsible for your own decisions and actions.

Michelle Wright (trading as MWCanHelp) accepts no liability for any outcomes, decisions or results based on advice or recommendations shared in any event.

Referrals and Third-Party Mentions

From time to time, we may refer attendees to trusted service providers or mention tools, platforms or external resources. These are offered in good faith and based on experience or recommendation.

You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence. Michelle Wright (trading as MWCanHelp) is not liable for the performance, conduct or results of any third-party service.

No Recording Without Permission

Recording, photographing or capturing any part of an MWCanHelp event is strictly prohibited unless you have received prior written permission from Michelle Wright. This includes:

Audio or video recordings.
Screenshots or screen recordings.
Written transcripts intended for public sharing.

Unauthorised use of content may lead to removal from future events and possible legal action.

Joining and Punctuality

Please arrive on time. For online sessions, entry may be closed after the first five minutes to protect the experience for others.

If you arrive late:

You may not be admitted.
Your space may be offered to someone else.
No refunds or credits will be issued.

Refunds and Cancellations

For paid events:

All bookings are final and non-refundable.
If you cancel, do not attend, arrive late or leave early, no refund or credit will be issued.
If we cancel or reschedule an event, you will be offered a credit to attend a future event of equal value.
No cash refunds will be given.

Data and Privacy

By registering for an MWCanHelp event, you will receive essential communication about that event (such as confirmation, joining links and reminders).

You will be asked separately if you would like to receive updates about future events. We will only send these updates if you give clear consent.

Collaborative Events

Some events may be hosted in partnership with guest speakers, service providers or other collaborators. In these cases, this policy still applies unless stated otherwise in writing before the event.

Severability

If any part of this policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections will remain fully effective and enforceable.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. The most recent version will always apply and will be available on registration pages or by request.

Non-Enforcement

If we choose not to enforce any part of this policy on a particular occasion, this does not mean we waive our right to enforce it in future.

Failure to act on a breach does not mean the policy is invalid or that any part of it no longer applies.
